Iron Buddha Tea Oolong Tea
铁观音乌龙茶
The Origin Story
The unmistakable taste of Iron Buddha tea (or tie guan yin) - an intensely floral oolong tea, hand rolled and fired in Anxi in Fujian Province, China. Iron Buddha is also known as Iron Goddess of Mercy. Unlike the more traditional heavily roasted Iron Buddha teas, this lightly oxidised Iron Buddha tea is gently tart, yet light and floral and gives a bright and refreshing infusion.

Fujian is home to some of the world's best oolongs, white and black teas
Anxi County in Fujian is the original home of this tea. Along with Wuyi, Anxi is a renowned centre for oolong production in Fujian, itself the home of oolong tea. The history of tea production in Fujian stretches back over 1000 years.
